Simpsons Homer Shaped Ice Cube Tray

This is one of the oddest and yet coolest Simpsons collectibles I've seen. The ice cubes come out as surprisingly detailed Homer heads. I'm a big Simpsons collector, and this is one of my favorite items. Just so everyone is aware - the tray is made of a very bendy/flexible rubber, which is good to pop the cubes out, but does make carrying it while filled with water a bit difficult. I was surprised to find out it wasn't a hard plastic tray.

Although a bit expensive with S&H, these ice cube trays are incredible! Literally, all features of Homer's face are on each piece of ice...just like the cartoon. I would say this is a must have for any hardcore Simpson's fan. The only problem you might want to be aware of is the material of the trays (a rubber type?) - are not conducive for stacking the trays or laying flat in the freezer. That's really the only problem we've had. Because they are so floppy, it can be difficult to get them into the freezer and then stay flat once placed inside.

It's fun to put the ice cubes in people's drinks when company is over to see who is astute enough to notice that the ice cubes are not normal and are a bust of Homer Simpson. Sadly water doesn't freeze to show all of the detail of the tray, but chocolate poured into takes on the shape better than water so you can make cool shaped candy in the image of one of your favorite cartoon characters.

My husband loved this ice cube tray. Not sure how clear the Homers are yet, but it still is a really neat collectible.

I got this as a gag gift for my husband, and he likes it; it makes perfect Homer Simpson head-shaped ice cubes.

This Homer Simpson ice cube tray is so funny! The person I bought it for as a Christmas present absolutely loved it!
