The Simpsons Movie Theater Figure Set - Set of 5 Vending Machine Toys

I got this for a diehard Simpsons fan. Out of all the gifts I got for him...and there were several Homer items...he liked this one best! I was totally surprised since I told him, "Here, open this gift first, it's the lamest one." But as it turned out, he had gotten another Simpsons character, Apu, out of a vending machine somewhere and had always wanted to get other characters in the set to add to his collection!

You need to know that each of these characters and their chairs and the platform the chair sits on, come detached...and they are very, very small. In other words, they show up in a bag and you have to put them together, unlike the photo of them where they appear to be all in a row and already attached. Those are the reasons that, once I got them, I thought to myself that they were not that great of a gift. But as it turned out, half the fun was putting them together with my friend when he came for lunch on his birthday. So I think any Simpsons fan would enjoy adding these to their collection. Just keep in mind they are as they're billed: "vending machine toys"...so they are very small.

I LOVE the Simpsons and while the movie was just okay I thought this was very cute.

I got it for a friend that has small children but it could not be used as the parts are small.

The item has very good detail. Much better than what I expected to be honest with you. But...............

It is more suited for a person that is a collector but then do you or anyone else need to collect plastic?

Okay quality but not designed for play.
