The world is a better place because of these! For the price I was expecting one of those cheap goofy radio controlled toys, where you have Straight-Forward and Turning-Reverse. But NO! This has independent steering and direction control, not to mention the controller which has the voices built into it. It stands about 12inches tall, and is really made fairly well (I drove mine up-down the driveway, across the lawn, and into the street). It takes 4 AA batteries in the skateboard, and Krusty uses a 9V. A couple other features include: Bart's Torso swivels as he skates, the skateboard is balanced/designed to do quick wheelies while going from reverse to forward, and the wheels are rubbery for pretty good traction most everywhere. I love this thing. In fact after getting my first two in the mail today, I just ordered 10 more! ...

This product is fun for Simpsons fans from the get-go. Switch on the "Krusty Approved" remote, and he immediately says "Hey hey!", letting you know you're in for a treat. This is meant as a childrens' toy, but it also great fun (plus it's a great display piece) for Simpsons fans and Simpsons collectors. Like any remote control toy, Bart can go forward or backward and turn, but the coolest feature is the abilite to perform a wheelie/spin move. Execute it properly, and Bart will tilt his skateboard backward and start spinning until the his controller either lets him stop, or, in some cases, he falls from his own antics. Luckily, if this does happen, Bart can survive it without so much as a scratch, and the wheels can even be cleaned easily (with a wet paper towel) if they get too dirty, so Bart can soon look just like new. Another great feature, of course, is Bart's phrases, which come from the remote as you give him different commands. "Aye Carumba" "Cool your jets, man" "Hot stuff, commin' through" and devilish laugh can all be heard, and if you (no!) become annoyed with his speeches you can even turn them off. Overall a fun product, and you don't even have to be a young child to enjoy it. I'm almost 15 and have had a lot of fun with the thing. Highly recomended for any Simpsons fan!

....The Krusty controller is a great addition to a perfect Bart figure. Barts detail is so perfect that when looking at the boxed display I think I'm watching the Simpsons. Ok, I don't, but it's still incredible. It's a must for any Simpsons fan and young kids will find Barts skateboarding antics mesmorizing. It's durable because when in use I've hit the wall many times and there is no damage done. This is a great gift idea as well. Also a great display item for the Simpsons collector!!....
