First of all this thing rocks. It makes perfect squishies, as long as you do it right. It's really easy to turn the crank, and you don't really crush the ice, what really happens is the chemical reaction in the salt when it hits the ice(along with some water, which it tells you to add) it gets really cold and that gets the soda (what ever soda you pour in) really cold and turns it all slushy (better know as a slushy, but they, and me, call it a squishy)!!!! and as i said earlier it makes them perfectly. So I strongly recomend this for anyone who gets that awesome craving for a squishy.

I received this as a birthday gift, and it is amazing! The construction is excellent, it will last forever. It produces Squishies of much higher quality than you might expect - this isn't just one of those "mix up ice and kool aid" makers - this thing really works. Highly suggested!

we love this toy, we have perfect squishy's every time, the servings are perfect for childern, and it is easy to clean. no problems, soda even stayed fizzy and got slushy.

Definitely worth buying. It actually freezes the beverage rather than adding crushed ice like other slushie makers do. The squishees taste great - not watered-down. And we discovered one bonus for the adults: it makes great squishees out of adult beverages, as long as they have lots of sugar in them - like wine coolers.

My little on got his finget stuck in the spout trying to get the stuff out. Lotion, ice nothing worked, we had to call fire rescue. His finger is bruised but not broken.

I bought this gift for my mother in law who is an avid fan of slurpees. She absolutley loved it. Although it is not an exact substitute for a real slurpee it does allow the user a quick fix. I recommend buying this product.

Everyone loves it. Sense of accomplishment, three year old attention span maximizer fun, tasty root beer, and this thirtysomething loves to make them.

What a waste of a Christmas gift! This did not work right from the start. Within an hour of putting it together, the cheap plastic handle was broken, and the entire unit was rendered useless. Nothing like a gift from Santa that doesn't even create one squishee before breaking. My kids were VERY disappointed, and so am I. $25 down the drain.

Frankly, I'm surprised THE SIMPSONS allowed their brand name to be associated with this cheap product. Although they have similar incarnations with the ICEE Maker and the Slushee Maker. I'm convinced any "positive reviews" for this product were written by employees in the Marketing Department of the SpinMaster Toy Company. They seem totally fake.

After following the instructions to the letter, multiple times, I am convinced this product only "wastes your time and irritates the juice".

You'll end up making a wet mess and spinning and spinning the rotary handle for a long time only to flatten the soda and not see even one drop of slush.

IN SHORT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY CONSIDERING THIS PRODUCT. Please, just get a blender and add some juice - you'll end up with at least some slush and you won't get discouraged and disheartened simply trying to have a good time with your family.

SHAME ON THIS PATHETIC PIECE OF GARBAGE.

I like the box but had to open it and unpack the whole thing only to find it did not really have "Squishie" cups. It just had plain cheap orange cups. I contacted Spinmaster and sent them my receipt and address and they assured me they would order and ship me "Squishie" cups. I have not received them yet.
I haven't actually used it, I bought it for looks but want the right cups!
