Fun SIMS Game with pets, but a few glitches included...,

I've played a few Sim games before and this has got to be one of the best sim games if you love pets. I love how you can create a family and have pets included. It is a little hard controlling both your sims and your pets needs but it is still great.
You can't command your pet to do what you want, but you can control your sims like any other sims games. The beginning is a little tough because I was trying to adjust myself to the new addition with the pets. It makes it a lot easier that you don't have to play mini games to earn money from your job but at the same time it does take some fun away from the game. All in all, this is a solid game for anyone who is into Sims and pets. --Glitches-- There were a few glitches in the game as far as moving some objects and placing them around the house. For instance when I was trying to put my dog bowl somewhere in the house the screen would go berserk and I wouldn't be able to move anywhere. The only way to get out of the glitch was to get out of the "grab" menu and select one of my sims. It's an awful glitch but it's very uncommon.

Best Sims game to hit the Nintendo,
By

This review is from: The Sims 2 Pets (Video Game)
I think this is by far the best Sims game to hit the Nintendo platform. Although there are some things missing from this game, such as gaining points to move to a new house, I think it surpasses its predecessors. First of all, they have exotic dog breeds, they have a Pharaoh Hound...need I say more. It's always fun getting a game featuring dogs that allows you to pick a breed other than a lab.
Another huge bonus is weekends. Ever get tired of playing the old Sims games because you didn't have enough time to keep your sim happy, clean, and full. No problem now. You have two extra days to pick up your Sims needs and also earn points. Finally, the best part is the shopping. You actually get to go into the Town Square and buy cool little things for you and your pet. Buy a cute dog bed, a goldfish, and grab a latte and a hotdog on the way out. Not to mention the cool restroom you can use while you're there. Doesn't really sound exciting, but it's cool when you're used to the old games where the only time you leave the house is to work, and you don't even get to see anything.

Stick with the computer versions,

Having owned and loved the entire series in computer format, I was excited when I heard Sims2-Pets for the Wii was alot like them. The gameplay and storyline ARE very similar. However, the controls are difficult to figure out, and even harder to master. You have to concentrate so much on hitting different combinations of buttons to preform even simple functions that your interest in the story is pretty much lost. I really wanted to love this game, but the poor controls make playing feel like work.
