Total Waste Of Money!!!!,

This stuff pack was a total waste of money. EA Games is cheating thier customers by offering so little for $20.00. I won't be buying another stuff pack unless I hear that they are offering more then what is in this pack. A few outfits, a few cars and stupid garage decorations just are not worth the money they asked for.

I violated my "don't buy stuff packs" rule because I had some extra money. I thought, "Eh, I'm flush. Let's buy some Sims stuff." Bad idea. You get like 4 outfits, 20 decorating items, and some cars. Waste of money. As soon as I got into buy mode, I knew I'd just wasted 20 bucks. Save your money.

Quality items, though not enough to make up for the glitches,

I'll start out by saying that I love the style of objects that came with this pack. I really like the selection of older, classic looking cars and the new female hairs look good. It also comes with a great sofa/loveseat set, and some decor items. Though, I expected to see more content included for the price.
As with most new sims games put out from EA, you've got initial glitches to deal with. I've been experiencing lots of new, game-play-preventing, glitches since installing fast lane.

$20 is the equivalent of 2000 SimPoints on the official Sims 3 store. 12 new vehicles alone would cost you more than 2000 Sims points. In addition to the cars there are new hairstyles, new clothing, new decorations...(hairstyles and clothing are more expensive on Sims 3 Store by the way)...there's no way you'd get that much stuff for just 2000 Sims points. People who complain that they don't get enough items for the price have obviously never shopped the Sims 3 Store.
Since I found the original selection of cars in the game to be lacking, I grabbed this up. I have yet to be disappointed. There are cars to fit all sorts of styles and personalities, and having a relationship with your car is both hilarious and helpful for loner-type characters, as their social increases as they drive their car (so no need to go out and speak to other Sims or plants.) Well worth the price, and looking forward to whatever stuff pack comes out next.

This expansion pack doesn't make or break the whole Sims 3 experience, but I like the cars. The decorations are not that much fun nor are they interesting enough to pay the whole $20. I didn't pay the whole $20; I waited for a sale.
My advice: if you like cars and bikes, it gives you about a few cars (6-8, including where to download the Toyota Prius & Ford Streetscape cars) and two more bikes, but everything else is just "for show." Get it on sale. People already into the Sims will feel the need (like me) to buy it, but this stuff pack will not convert.

I like this stuff pack. People say its not worth the twenty dollars but I disagree. You get eight outfits, 4 tops, 3 hairstyles, 1 hat style, a livingroom set, 2 garage decor sets, 14 cars, rockabilly bar set, and rockabilly music for the radio. Thats way more than you can buy for 20 dollars worth of sim points. I think its is mostly for people who are into cars and garage stuff though. I dont regret buying it because I like the retro stuff it has available and I can actually have boys style room. Also they have a great "Gnome Crossing" road sign and a car crashing into a llama road sign.

Good addition if you like cars, but the content gets boring fast, there isn't alot to do but decorate and buy cars.
It's ok for the money, would have been really worth $10 but not sure about $20. I think this should have been just something they had on their website for download. However, it IS better than any other stuff pack they have made, so that's a plus. And being friends with your car isn't really that entertaining as it sounds.

The Fast Lane Stuff really doesn't come with a whole lot of...well, stuff! The items that are in it are pretty great, though--I love the old-school truck and the few rockabilly fashions it does have. I gave it a 4 because I have found myself incorporating a lot of the elements of it into my recent games, but I'm still a tad bit disappointed on the lack of "stuff".

At first when I saw this pack, I wasn't going to get it. I'm not a car fan. After I saw all the "rockabilly"-esque stuff they added, I had to have it.
For the record, ALL stuff packs are over priced. Usually the items don't make up for the lost money, so try getting this at a discount somehow. Anywho, price aside, I love the hair and clothes this comes with. My favorite part is the new Rockabilly radio station. They even included a Reverend Horton Heat song ("Big Red Rocket of Love")so that was awesome :) All in all, if you enjoy cars or a rockbilly theme then get this. If not, pass. There's nothing in this SP relevant to anything else but that.

Honestly, the items from this stuff pack I've used the most are the clutter, outfits, and hairstyles. I just love clutter, and the create-a-Sim items are nice. However, the cars didn't really impress me. I can download much better quality items from custom content creators (mainly fresh-prince at his website and Mod the Sims). The cars I've downloaded for free have much greater detail and are more realistic. This has probably been my least favorite stuff pack so far, but I still like some of the items.
