My daughter loves it but since I was the one that had to install it, I was surprised to find that in order to play the game I had to temporarily give her administrator rights. It would have been nice if they would have mentioned this in the installation instructions so I wouldn't have thought I did something wrong when the game wouldn't work.

I bought this to complete my Sims 2 set when I definitely decided not to go with Sims 3. I want to build and control my neighborhoods and I don't actually play the Sims people as much as I like to build. In addition, despite the fact that I don't get "attached" to my Sims that much, I don't want them randomly disappearing. :-) No problems with load or play.

Great game! Just make sure you have a good enough computer to run the game properly. Sometimes the other neighbors in the apartment like to hang out in the yard or hallways. It'll slow your game down when there are too many people 'hanging around'.

I purchased this game for my daughter for her 12th birthday and she loves it! It was definitely a great buy!

I have heard and read hundreds of complaints against EA because of their new implementation of SecuRom but I'm here to tell you I had no problems. The FIRST time I played the game, after the install, it did run quite slow and I had to ctrl+alt+del out of it. After I restarted my computer it runs like a dream. I have burning software and various DVD and CD writing drives, I haven't heard a peep out of SecuRom. The game itself it great. Tons of new features and fixes that round out the game as this is the final expansion prior to Sims 3. I recommend it, you'll enjoy it.
