The third title in the Sims Stories line, which also includes Life Stories and Pet Stories, Castaway Stories allows you to create and customize your Sims and play through 24 whole dynamic chapters. From adopting an orangutan and fighting off wolves, to choosing a romantic interest, Sims Castaway is packed with adventure.

Sims Castaway features two great ways to play. In engaging directed Story mode, you explore the island, build a shelter, learn to find food, and make your Sims' lives as fun and comfortable as possible. You even unlock rewards along the way as you achieve set goals. In open-ended Classic mode, you create your Sims and determine how they'll evolve on their new island home. In an environment where anything or anyone can wash up on the beach, you decide how their stories unfold.

This easy-to-play, laptop-friendly version of The Sims features simple shortcuts and an all-new auto-pause that lets you start and stop when opening or closing your laptop. By playing the game in its own window, you can also easily stay in touch with friends by using your own IM and email at the same time.

First off, I am a huge fan of the Sims 2 Games, and own almost all the expansion packs.

When I first played the game, I didn't stop until I finished the Castaway Story completely through. I couldn't get enough. I then created my own characters to play the game through, hoping (maybe) that something may be different or that I would be faced with a different challenge... Although this game is incredibly fun and creative, I do with there were more story variations, or different characters to chose from who would then bring their own stories to the game.

Overall, a fun game, but I don't know how long it was meant to last...

this game is pretty cool. although it doesn't have some of the cheat codes available that The Sims 2 but its still pretty fun. The newer features like clothes, hair, head types to decor and furniture are all a nice touch. it runs well on my Macbook.

I thought the game was fun! I like the part that you can have more than one player. So if you want to make up a story but then want to do another one but don't want to screw up the first you can add a new player. That was helpful!
