The Sims is a great game! There's nothing better than controlling these little people's every move! If you've never played this game, you have to try it! It's addicting, you'll find yourself playing it for hours on end! I had The Sims and a few expansion packs on a Windows computer, I bought all of them seperately so I know that this is a fantastic bargain! And I am having no problems with the Mac versions of these games. I have this party pack along with three other expansion packs and everything works perfectly! I am running these games on an iBook G4 - Mac OS X Version 10.3.9, with a 1GHz processor and 640 MB of memory.

As you have probably read, the Sims is one of the best games ever made! When I saw this pop up as I was ordering Hot Date, my heart jumped. Bad for me, lucky for you- I've spent almost 100 bucks on all of these games buying them separately. This is a bargain! Of course, the Sims is so much more fun with these expansions. It just stinks that this wasn't out yet when I purchased the Sims 5 months ago... :-)

I didn't get this case of games, but the sims is a great game, and buying all 4 games for 50 bucks is a bargain. Each game is about 20-30 dollars, get the party pack for more the fun and less the money

My dad jus recently bought me a mac mini and since there were not that many games to play on it i was soo mad! but when i was talking to one of my friends at school she asked me have i ever played the sims before. i mean i had heard of the sims before but i never played it. so i said no so she begged me to try it so i begged my dad to buy it for me ever since then i play it for like the whole day because its summer and schools out and i have nothing to do so i play this game all the time. now ive begged my dad to buy me the sims 2 and im waiting for it in the mail.

I can't play the game.. I can watch the booting until the little "play scene" about the game where they build a house..

The game are sutting down and a small window comes up and says

" DrawSprocket cannot switch to the rewuested resolution(800x600, 16 bit, 1 buffer(s)).
Make sure your computer meets the display requirements specified in the read me file. "

and I have tried to change the resolution to 800x600 on my Mac and the other one they ask about.. but it does not help..

so if someone know what I can do to get the game running, because I rely want to play this game :)

I love the Sims games they are realy fun I have been playing them since I was 5 wiht my 13 year old brother and sister. They are really fun to play alone and with a family.

... this has been a horrendous waste of money. After 2+ hours, I can't get the game to run on my computer, despite the fact that my machine far exceeds the system requirements. there's a 1-4 minute lag between when you click a button and when the action occurs, and in a game like this (there's a LOT of choices to make and clicks to make on objects) it's completely unplayable.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

I love this game, it's the bomb! But my best friend ....... not so much...... It broke her computer and hey had to get a new computer but for me, It was the best so there are to sides if you ask her she'll say don't get it but if you ask me i'll say buy all the games!

It ruined my computer and doesn't even work! If I were you I would never buy this game for a mac! It on;y works on normal computers!
