I am totally in love with this CD. Just when you are looking for something different to reach the depths of your soul this CD meets your needs. I am proud to say that my cousin Roderick Williams is apart of this amazing group of people and he wrote part of Khutso (chant for peace) and it's my favorite song on the CD. This is a CD that can really grow on you and bring joy years to come.

This is one of the few examples of crossover with integrity.,

The SDASA Chorale is a gospel group from Soweto, South Africa, and I Fagiolini a solo voice ensemble hailing from Oxford in the UK. Their unusual meeting of voices, hearts and minds is a celebration of humanity. How else can Machaut and ancient Zulu amahubo sound together in harmony?

Apart from listening to the CD, I had the priveledge to attend a concert they gave in Pretoria with the same content as the CD. And what a concert it was! I enjoyed every split-second of it! Lets hope that more CD's of this style will come out, with one modification, and that is without excited audiences. One can understand the audience's excitement, but its disturbing to the listener afterwards. Fortunately, this only happens during a few tracks.
