I was recently in the Dominican Republic and asked a record store clerk for recommendations of good, traditional merengue CDs. This CD was one that was recommended. I was not disappointed. If you like to dance the merengue, this is a great CD for you.

Lo fabuloso de este album es la variedad. La mayoria del ritmo es merengue, pero en dos de ellos le an~ade acordion a la orquesta de metales. Ademas hay una salsa a duo con Willy Chirino, un cha-cha-cha, y una Cumbia.

Todo cantado con el estilo inigualable de Johnny Ventura, con liricas graciosas y contagiosas, ritmo alegre, y muy buena onda. La mayoria de los temas son romanticas pero a la misma vez jocondosas.
