Unpretentious, but refined. This is truly the kind of book you want to curl up with, especially in bed. Though I will warn you, don't begin reading if you have somewhere to be early the next day; you won't be able to put it down. "Oh, it's just a novella. I can get through it before bed," you'll say to yourself...ha! Not if you're savoring each and every word.I really enjoyed the strong women in this book; these are not your average Victorian maidens playing rabbit for the wolf. These rabbits have rabies and are not to be trifled with! Bianca in "Wager of Sin" really spoke to me as a woman who does what she wants, when she wants and with whom. It takes a strong man to earn the company of a strong woman and Mr. Hawkins was certainly worthy. Loved. It.

Really enjoyed the stories in this erotic book, normally you read these books and you like 1 maybe 2 stories but would recommended.
