5.0 out of 5 stars Great recording of a live performance, September 1, 2008
This review is from: Sin E Ri-ra (Audio CD)
If you love Irish music, you can't go wrong with this CD. Sin E Ri-Ra is a very talented group of performers, and everyone was having a great time at both shows I attended. The price seems a bit high; I was able to purchase this cd @ the pub for $20. However, ninefineirishmen.com's retail page seems broken, and nynycasino.com doesn't have a retail page. Do yourself a favor if you're ever in Las Vegas. Go to Nine Fine Irishmen and see them live.

I've seen them play many times at the NYNY casino. They are phenomenal and always put on a great show.

5.0 out of 5 stars It Was A Mighty Craic!, January 25, 2009

We saw this group last weekend in Vegas at NewYorkNewYork, it was a MIGHTY CRAIC!!! The awesome fiddler gal and the fabulous lead singer appear to be the only remaining original members, but were so incredibly good, it was scary. So was our bar bill for 30 pints o'Guinness for four people! The place was hopping with spontaneous dancing, such a wild, authentic Irish pub vibe!! They played jigs and reels, Irish rebel drinking songs, folk classics, modern cover tunes and took requests...played for over four hours straight to a packed house! A fantastic Irish dancer comes out every once in a while and does hard and soft shoe dancing to the music. A MUST SEE for anyone in Vegas who has left a part of themselves in the Motherland of Eire and longs to return, and a MUST HEAR for fans of great Irish music. Slainte and Pog Mo Thoin!
