This is simply great, creamy jazz funk by Weldon Irvine.
At times, Irvine and his group--lots of horns and female backup singers, sound like a smaller Earth Wind and Fire. This runs throughout this album There is nothing new about this music, but with jazz funk, the greatness is in the playing itself. |
