Norfleet brings the price of fame and fortune to light in her latest African American romance. After achieving great success as an actress, Alex Price inexplicably abandons her career to live in splendid isolation, either in St. Croix or her home in New Jersey, which is where action-movie star Lance Morgan runs into her during a blizzard. Lance desperately wants to get the rights to a book by reclusive author Mason Turner, and he believes that Alex is a means to that end. Lance brings Alex out of her shell, and she starts to enjoy her time with Lance. They start a relationship that seems like true love, but soon the ugly side of Hollywood takes its toll with tabloid articles and perennial hangers-on. Alex realizes that Lance is using her to find Mason Turner and plots her revenge. I don't know what's going on at Arabesque, but they are certainly turning out some great novels and introducing us to some exciting novelists. Celeste Norfleet's "Since Forever" steps boldly out of the usual mold for romance novels and takes us on an exciting journey with characters that we can care about. Every one of her characters lives in the pages of this book and captures their audiences' attention. Much like a Janice Sims' novel.
All three of Ms. Norfleet's novels captivated me from the very beginning. She gives her readers much, much more than the run-of-the-mill romance. She even spiced up "Since Forever" with believable class, exciting locations and unique drama. I thoroughly enjoy her writing style and character development. Ms. Norfleet is an extraordinarily talented writer. If you haven't added her novels to your library, you're missing out on some great reading.
I look forward to not only her next romances, "One Sure Thing" and "Reflections Of You," but also her entry into the next level, hardbacks. Bravo, Ms. Norfleet!! You nailed it again!!

I enjoyed this book. I liked how Celeste Norfleet developed the characters and you came to understand their ways of doing things. This wasnt just your typical romance novel, it added a story and background that had you sitting up at times curious what would happen next. I cant wait to pick up another book by Celeste.
