I couldn't disagree more with the lukewarm review. I was so taken in by just a few lines of the song Time, featured on a movie called Lucky 7, that I bought my first Chantal CD without hearing anything more. I was then so impressed with the album Color Moving and Still, that I bought Chantals first album (yes, I was working backwards) which featured her first hit Surrounded which is a true classic. Perhaps if you look at all of Chantal's albums, there are a few songs that aren't as strong as others, but in this collection almost all of her powerhouses are presented. I just don't understand how someone would be dissapointed. With that, let me add this thought: Chantal Kreviazuk's work, like many true artists, may not always be fully appreciated on first hearing. But give it time, fully paying attention, and you will fall in love with this artist as I have.

Got this CD primarily based on hearing some of her covers (i.e. Leaving on a Jet Plane) and 'Ghosts of You'. Her later work seems to be more to my liking. This album contains a good sampling of her career through '06, but I was a little disappointed in the songs overall. What I've heard from her latest album, 'Plain Jane', seems to include some of her best work yet.
