I searched for New Wave (my favorite genre) and Def Leppard came up in the search. Now, I like Def Leppard alright, but since when are they New Wave?

Shellie Mom says:
It probably came up like that because Lep has been, in the past, included in the "new wave of British heavy metal" bands that came out back in the late 70's early 80's. Then again if you ask Joe Elliott he would probably say Lep is and always has been closer to new wave than heavy metal (rolls eyes)
