There are two versions of since you've been gone on the cd. One is about 18 seconds longer and comes from a different source. The fourth track is a video of the song but BEWARE SINCE IT IS AN AUSTRALIAN IMPORT THE VIDEO WILL NOT PLAY ON MOST DVD PLAYERS DESIGNED FOR THE US MARKET!

Why can't they release the singles in the US? Kelly rocks on the cd. "She finally gets what she wants" by singing her fav genre of music! If you have not seen the AOL live versions...then what are you waiting for? Kelly sounds great live too and the video is a bonus! Kelly Clarkson....has another hit on her hands. By Breakaway-her album too while your at it and don't forget her amazing debut Thankful!

This is the second single off Kelly Clarkson's second album, "Breakaway". The first single, "Breakaway" was the theme song for the movie, "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement", and was a huge hit - topping the music charts all around the world.
"Since U Been Gone" shows a rockier, edgier side of Kelly that we haven't seen before.

This CD includes two versions of "Since U Been Gone", the album version and the AOL Live version. The live version goes for a little longer that the album version, and is really fun to listen to. The single also includes an AOL Live version of the smash hit, "Miss Independent". This is a great song, and Kelly sings it really well.
A video for the song "Since U Been Gone" is also included on this enhanced disc.

I really loved this single, and I personally felt that it was Kelly's best song yet. This CD is definitely worth buying.

It really hasn't surprised me that all the contestants from American Idol really haven't been able to really sell bigtime, over the top. Kelly Clarkson is arguably one of those few that is fair, but not somebody that really has shined that way either. Her second single from her sophmore record Breakaway, Since You've Been Gone, isn't a perfectional breakup song. It isn't bad, but not great either. The song sounds like Kelly is trying to have a more teen pop sound, than a sound that is just one of those that can be very outrageous, like her earlier song Ms. Independent. Still, I hope she can find that range that can put her away from those acts soon.

I am sorry to hear that alot of people are not aware of the "Jason Nevin's Remix EXCELLENT" close to 8 min long, it is out there U just need to look and search, Nevins is responsible for some of the great songs around from Ultra Nate "Free 2005" a bit fast though, as well as The siren Diva Anastacia's remix of "Left Outside Alone" EXCELLENT, also "Sick and Tired" very funky beat, a bit dreary at times tho. Nevins tends to take on the songs that one would never think could be a great remix, Kelly and Anastacia remixes are so HOT, very club/dance floor friendly, with a slight rock edge, not to stray from the original.
