SIN-fully Delicious, October 16, 2006
Sinclair and his wife the good Reverend Nedra Davis Reasoner are a happy couple, deeply in love and as parents of three wonderful children they adopted life is great for this close loving family. But as we know life has curves and the Reasoner's are about to be caught in a winding one that threatens their serene existence and test their faith in God and each other. Samuel Jamison and his twisted son Royce descend on the family's tranquility with a petition to gain custody of Trevor the little brother that Colin has cared for all of his life before finding safety with Sin and Nedra. Now everything important to the Reasoner household is in jeopardy of being destroyed by a man who is hoping to use Trevor to redeem him and the sins of his past. The inner conflict and turmoil of all involved is superbly explored and as a reader I felt their frustrations and vulnerability. Sin and Colin come from the same world and will fight to keep the life and world neither thought could exist for them. They are both faced with reverting to the street instincts they once depended on or the faith they're learning to understand. Nedra's faith must sustain her family or risk losing them and the life she treasures, her faith must prove stronger than the menacing threat trying to divide them and causing discord in her once stable marriage. Sharon who finally found the kind of love she's dreamed of is torn by loyality to keep it. Winston stands to lose more than just the wife he's come to love beyond measure and Rhonda whose jealousy of her stepmother could remain a thorn in her father's happiness. SINFUL INTENTIONS is more than an inspirational story it's an exceptional reading experience that draws the reader into the knowledge and power of their own faith and what's important in the joys shared with those we love. It was good to re-visit Carla and Jacob and meet their twins, look in on the Plaines (SWEET SACRAFICE), and witness the young man Colin is become, see how unconditional love has strengthened a still sensitive Trevor, and meet the inquisitive day-care diva Gillian. Bravo Ms. Rhodes and thank you for giving your readers the perfect sequel to SIN.

Sin It Is, October 9, 2006
After reading Ms Rhodes first book (Sin) about Sinclair Reasoner and Nedra, I was glad to see them once again; married and with three adopted children. To see the length that Sin and Nedra went to to keep their children together, the love that Sin has for Nedra, and her love for him, earring and all was awesome. This was a wonderful read. The characters of Winston and Sharon made a good secondary story as well. I plan to go back and reread Sin just for the memories it brought back about Sin and Pastor Ned. I would hope Ms Rhodes would find another story in her for Sin and Nedra, but not take as long to bring them back.
