This is one series that has gotten better and better. I thought the last novel in the series was the best - WOW was I wrong! Now, I believe that this one is. I guess I could go back and give the others a 4 star rating if I was comparing the novels in the series but to me a 5 star rating is for any book that pulls me in so completely that I can not put it down and so far most of the books in this series have done that.

As one of the reviewer for this series has stated, this series will remind you of the BDB series but with wings and I really love the Black Dagger Brotherhood books and this series was a very nice fit for my love of paranormal romances.

The author does a fantastic job of pulling the reader in and never letting go with wonderful characters, credible world building, fast actions and originality.

I won't recap the story as other reviewers have already done a very good job of that but this novel was so riveting that you would swear that the author used magic in writing the book. You know that the protagonists are going to get their HEA but the reader can not imagine how in the heck it can be accomplished until reveled at the very end. This keeps you reading page after page until the very last.

This series contains all the following:
- Great world building where I can picture it in my mind easily
- Actions flow smoothly and keep me turning the pages
- Characters that I become "attached" to and want to know what happens to them
- HEA - I want and need a HEA
- Heat factor - A graphic description of the sex act does not always turn me on but an explicit love making scene can.

An amazingly beautiful story of two souls that have always been meant to be.

Roxy is a witch whose power is based on sex magic. She's always been torn whether to allow her powers to grow or to have them go dormant because of her parents and the ideas they have embedded in her mind. That is until she meets Key (and Dyfyr).

Key is an artist and a Wing Slayer Hunter. He has had a very tortured life growing up. He also had parents with different ideas and one of them took to physical harm as a form of punishment to try and get their way from him. Key became completely numb, without any feelings. Especially feelings of love. That is until he meets Roxy.

Together they can conquer all of the negativity that they both carry in their minds, hearts and souls. They complete one another and I do not believe fate could have created a more perfect match :)

I can't say that Sinful Magic was the pinnacle of the Wing Slayer Novels because they were all well written, fun and sexy as hell. The were all were so good it was hard to say that. But I loved the Character--Key DeMicca. He was talented, tough, sexy and tortured. Everything I love in a Hero and a love interest.

Roxy was the tough on the outside tender on the inside heroine that I also love. (That sounded like a turkey dinner but you get the idea.) She fought the mating but it was inevitable that they would be together.

I loved that Jennifer Lyon brought all the previous characters together in each installment of her series. She rocks the paranormal romance genre with her well thought out, interesting, sexual world.

The only thing that was disappointing in this book was when I found out there were to be no more. The publishing company is crazy. But then Jennifer loving her characters as I do decided to go out on her own. Yay! Someone who dares to continue with something they believe in. I'm so happy she's brave enough to rock the publishing boat.

Rock on Jennifer!!! Or should I say Write on!!!

Sinful Magic is the latest installment in Jennifer Lyon's Wing Slayer Hunter series. Roxy Banfield has two goals: 1) to sign Kieran DeMicca and his graphic novel series to a long-term development contract for movie and TV and; 2) to never, ever give in to her fertility-witch nature and become like her mother. So far, so good! Goal number one is well within reach as Kieran DeMicca is attending the Comic Expression Conference and goal number two can certainly be reached as long as Roxy manages to stay away from the one man who can trigger her latent fertility-witch abilities. Unfortunately for Roxy that man is Kieran DeMicca. Balls!

Kieran DeMicca is the most unlikely Wing Slayer Hunter. Oh, he's got the build, the aggression, and the thirst for witch blood but what he truly loves is his art. Since he was child, Kieran has managed to channel much of his aggression and anger into his art work. As an adult, Kieran has turned his talent into a money-making graphic novel series about a dragon named Dyfyr. For Kieran, Dyfyr is more than just a creature of his imagination; he is a being that has always been a part of Kieran and his life. In fact, in Kieran's darkest and most desperate moments, he is sure that Dyfyr has simply taken over and saved his life. What more could a man ask for?

Kieran and Roxy's lives collide when he spots the hot little redhead across the room at the Comic Expression Conference. Roxy also spots Kieran but her reaction to him is much, more dramatic. While Kieran is perfectly willing to make Roxy's acquaintance, Roxy is perfectly willing to run fast and furiously in the other direction.
