About the Author

Singer-songwriter Ken Sheldon creates original music for the young ... and the young at heart! In fifth grade, he purchased a 25-cent guitar at a garage sale and has been performing for enthusiastic crowds ever since. Ken plays the guitar, banjo, hammer dulcimer, harmonica, whistle, and kazoo. He has ten nieces and nephews, many of whom have comtributed their voices to the lively choruses of these tunes. Ken makes his home in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. This is his first audiocassette for Scholastic.

My 4-5 year old is all over this. Each song educates about a new topic, time, months, etc. I've bought other sing-alongs and this is her favorite

This cleverly constructed childrens' tape with accompanying work book will delight youngsters with its catchy and humorous songs while teaching basic skills. Parents will recognize and enjoy some familiar tunes.
