Sing Along Songs - Campout at Walt Disney World [VHS]

While we're going camping, we're going to have some songs and fun and dancing, and excitement, and all the rest.

This video ranks high up there with the "live action" ones, what with the Sing Along gang joining in with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and the others in a fun fest which brings you on a tour of many of the sights of Discovery Island and River Country. Donald Duck is there camping out, as is Goofy, and the sight of him water skiing is worth the price of the video. (He's actually quite good!!!)

Then there are the songs - many from years before, such as "The Caissons Go Marching Along," "Don't Fence Me In," "Mountain Greenery," and when the dancers do "Turkey in the Straw," it's a real hoot, and our two twin girls want to get up and dance and dance and dance....

A terrific addition to any collection!!!

We took our 30 month old to Disney and she was so weirded out by the charaters because they were in her face! But when I bought her the whole entire Disney charactors video she wanted to go back to Florida again.
This is a MUST to prepare your little ones for all the attractions and characters. Its so much fun memorizing the songs and watch your childrens face glow!
The camp out will prepare them for all the outdoors characters.

My girls love this video as well as all the Disney Sing Alongs (we own ALL of them). They tend to prefer these with the actual characters and kids (beach party, disneyland fun, campout, circus) than the cartoons - but love them all!

I bought this sing-a-long not only because I love Disney sing-a-longs but because I'm planning a trip to Disney World and seeing as how the "Disneyland Fun" sing-a-long shows great footage of Disneyland, I thought this would do the same for Disney World. But it doesn't. It shows no footage of any park or any resort other than the Fort Wilderness campground. Also, it doesn't even have classic Disney songs. Instead is has songs like "We'll be Comin' Around the Mountain." Maybe for young kids it is good but it was extremely disappointing for me!

My 2 and 7 year olds love all the Disney sing along dvd's. This dvd came in handy for the summer camping adventure they went on and they sing the songs all the time. My kids prefer the sing along dvds that aren't animated. Hopefully Disney will come out with more sing along dvds that are updated and have more kids our little ones can associate with.

Our entire family loves to watch this video (mom, dad, 4 year old twins and baby). Not only do we love the classic (mostly non-Disney) songs, but we also enjoy seeing familiar scenery from Ft. Wilderness, Discovery Island and River Country (of which the latter two are no longer open to the public).

This was the first sing-along DVD we ever bought & everyone in my family loves it, from my mom who babysits, to my 2 year old who knows all the songs as well as everyone else! One or 2 of the kids in the video over-act a little, but the movie is totally worth buying. Some of the songs everyone knows from the very start, while others are vaugly familiar & you'll learn them quickly---from If You're Happy and You Know It to John Denver's Take Me Home (Country road). It's fast-paced enough to hold the interest of the younger ones, with enough viewing pleasure to entertain the older ones.

This DVD is quite short and a little old fashioned but cute none the less for ages 5 and below I think.

My daughter (age 3) loves this - she loves to sing and dance and the songs are ones I remember from my childhood. Even my sons (ages 6 and 8) enjoy this video. I can listen to it over and over (which she loves to do) and not get but mildly annoyed at hearing the same songs again and again. It goes well with the Mickey Beach Party video. We rotate both of them together and it's a great combination.

Just like all great Disney sing-along videos, this one is right up there with them. My parents got this for me as a little kid and at the age 17 I still watch it. And like I said in a different review, it's not because I don't have a life. But the songs are great and show itself is very entertaining. My favorite one on here is called "Turkey in the Straw". I'm sure anybody of any age, male or female, would love this song, along with the rest of them. I also thought the actors and actresses were very talented, all of them deserve credit for making a great video. I also want to thank Walt Disney for the production of this video. Thank you Disney!
