This is the bands highest charting album, as their popularity was at its peak. "Out Demons Out" was the single that proceded this record, and is with out a doubt a fan-favorite if ever their was one! So with a simalarly titled 'long-player' the atraction is ovious. Had they included the 'hit single' in any form, the album would've undoubtedly been even more popular! The songs/suites are all unique...and weird to be concise. 'Momma's Reward' has that 'Hendrix' sound Edgar tries to emulate, with great success I might add. This is a buzz-cut you really need to crank up! Like alot of their albums there's some songs that I'll skip on occasion, and even with the plethora of bonus tracks its only 80/100 every bit of 4 stars. Not quite 5. I'm sure a lot of people have heard: "this musics freakin' me out man!"...from freinds and lovers while playing this album...especially when cloud-ridin'. So you might not listen to this one as much,...but sometimes its just right! I have the 1st disc release also, both have excellent sound...if you want the bonus tracks though ya' gotta' buy this one. Some are previously unreleased and their OK...but if you have the earlier edit. plus Out Demons Out and Apache Dropout you could probably do without this edit. The DVD 'At Rockpalast' 2006 has 3 of the songs on this disc and they really bring these 'relics' back to life...A MUST SEE
