I think Sing Deadly would make a great movie! It is combination of a 007 ability to handle any situation, a lady killer singing sensation, lots of bad guys, tons of blood and gore, and steamy sex scenes! Carme has also brought into the book the background of what it takes to become a star, the grooming, the training, the publicity, and especially the connections! I've met a few "Danny Angels" through the years and Carme has captured the charming conman side along with the much darker hidden side of that kind of man, perfectly. Getting into such a relationship is easy. Getting out could be deadly!

Really poor story. The basic story line - mobster becomes singer, mobster travels to a new city becomes an instant hit, gorgeous girls swoon, mobster bangs girl, mobster moves on to the next city, becomes an instant hit ........etc., repeat for 39 chapters. Really boring.

Mr. Pitrello is a wonderful and fun entertainer. He should stick with that and stay away from writing books.

I read alot, about 200 books a year! Sing Deadly is entertaining and has alot of true people in it. You may have to read between the lines some to figure out who they are, but that just makes it more interesting! Carme makes it fun, just enough sex, not too much
and certainly suggests and needs a follow-up. If you want to have some fun and just enjoy
try Sing Deadly.

I got the hard copy of this book aboard a cruise ship where the author was performing (multiple standing ovations) and enjoyed it very much. The author brings a new perspective to the Mob and its ties to the entertainment industry. Sing Deadly is a story that is meant for the "silver screen". Buy this book!

sex and violence gets boring after a while but the ending was interesting. It became apparently exaggerated and same ol same ol after a while.
