Sounds enough like the Broadway album to be it sans vocals. My only negative is that I wish that the producers had been able to include ALL of the songs from the Broadway album. If you like to sing you'll LOVE this CD.

I swear this CD sounds EXACTLY like the Broadway CD without the vocals on it! At first I thought I had purchased another copy of the BDWY soundtrack, but when I didn't hear Hugh Jackman's voice, I was blown away at the arrangement of these astounding tracks. The best tracks are on the CD, with full dance breaks and instrumentals, perfect for performing for amature to expert! This CD is a MUST have for any performer. 5 Stars!

Anyone who owns the Original Broadway Cast recording knows that this CD is missing half the tracks, including some of the very best songs from Act One! I mean, what happened to When I Get My Name In Lights, Love Crazy, Only An Older Woman, Best That You Can Do, Don't Wish Too Hard, Come Save Me, Continental American, and Not the Boy Next Door? I was hoping to direct this using this CD as guide music to help my actors learn their parts but now, forget that.

Use "Sing the Songs of The Boy from Oz" to sing along with the actual orchestrations of these selections used in the 2003-04 Broadway production! Includes tones at the start of some songs to identify the openings.

Play it back-to-back with the Cast Recording to learn the exact timing of lyrics and then sing your heart out!

One of the best music minus one I heard recently. True it's hasn't got all the score but let's face it you can't have all the 26 scores and a few of the songs is not suitable for music minus one.
