As Sophie Adams says, "I looooooooove to sing!" and so she does. This is a really special book. Charming story line with a real cowgirl twang to the language. Great illustrations that add to the story. And, songs...wonderful songs that Sophie makes up and sings to her family. And you'll sing too. It's impossible not to. A family favorite and a must for all home libraries.

This is a delightful story! Pages of narration are interspersed with Sophie's wonderfully creative songs. The songs are so important--don't just read them! They should be sung as loud and enthusiastically as possible! Just as Sophie would sing them. Children stared in amazement and delight as I sung them and they will when you sing them as well!

I don't know how I found this book for my daughter, but it is our favorite. I read the entire story in a southern drawl and sing all of Sophie's songs off key, loud and twangie until we laugh ourselves silly! All this fun sends my daughter off to happy dreams, and sends me off with a smile on my face for the rest of the night. This is not just a story- this is ENTERTAINMENT!!

I love this book! It's very imaginative and great fun for big and small alike.

What an inspiring book. It brings me and my daughter Jaime much closer together. The story readings never were the same after we found Sophie. Dayle Dodds did it again! Another bestseller!

I like to sing too. I like when she said I have big toes. I like thunderstorms. I like that girl because she is funny.

I like this book because it has rhymes.I also like it because it is funny.The last think I about is that it has pictures.

My four nieces (aged 2-6) absolutely love this book! They can't all sing alomg to it, but try as the oldest belts out all of her favorite Sophie songs (she has all of them memorized) and has discovered she has a great singing voice. Don't let this happen to your child or ya all might be in for some sleepness nights.

I am a first grade teacher and my class absolutely adores Sing Sophie! They especially love it when Sopihe sings and they roll on the floor laughing! I enjoy reading the book as much as the children love hearing it!

I like the pictures . I like the cowgirl. I like the funny song. I like the characters. I like when the cowgirl sang to her mom and dad.
