I have all of the "Gaither Homecoming Friends" videos, and this one is probably my very favorite. Filmed live at the Tennessee Center for Performing Arts in Nashville, the legends of Gospel music offer a marvelous gift of praise, encouragement, and testimony about the unfailing faithfulness of our God. My favorite selection is Guy Penrod and Larry Ford leading the congregation in "I will Sing of my Redeemer." Interspersed with wonderful testimonies from the participants, such songs as "O Happy Day," "It Won't Rain Always," "I feel like Traveling On," and the title song, "Sing Your Blues Away" make for a wonderful experience of rejoicing in the goodness of the Lord. I have watched this video hundreds of times, and am blest every time. Bill and Gloria Gaither certainly know how to bring out the best in people...and so does God!

VERY INSPIRING VIDEO... WONDERFUL PRAISE AND WORSHIP SONGS... I'M LIKE ONE OF THE OTHER REVIEWERS "I WILL SING OF MY REDEEMER" IS VERY GOOD... MY FAVORITE OF ALL THE SONGS ON THE VIDEO IS "BECAUSE HE LIVES." JONATHAN PIERCE DOES A SUPERB SOLO PART ON "BECAUSE HE LIVES." This video produced around 1996 is uplifting, joyous and full of humor. It seemed to be a forgotten work until the present offering.

First, the video is all about lifting the blues. Bill and Mark Lowry have some hilarious sketches which you are sure to enjoy.
