Songs for the real meaning of Christmas, November 30, 2007
This review is from: Sing-along Christmas Carols (Board book)
This book is super sturdy, and looks like is is made of felt and has all the bumps where the stitching would be if it had been. It is fun to look and feel with the kids on your lap as the CD plays each page of songs. Songs played are:
1. Away in a Manger
2. Silent Night
3. We wish you a Merry Christmas (1st verse only)
4. Deck the Halls
5. Jingle Bells
6. Good King Wenceslas
7. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
8. O Little Town of Bethlehem
9. The Holly and the Ivy
10. I Saw Three Ships
11. Once in Royal David's City
12. The First Noel
13. O Christmas Tree
14. We Three Kings of Orient Are
15. In the Bleak Midwinter
I thought this was a breathe of fresh air as most things these days are geared only to Santa Claus and doesn't give proper meaning to CHRISTmas.
This is definitely a great find and will be treasured for years to come.
