Great toy for that singing star who loves to put on a show. I purchased this toy for my 5 yr old goddaughter and she adores it. She was amazed with having her very own keyboard, which she could not only listen to melodies but also create her own melodies and sing along with the microphone. The orchestra allows you to listen to the melodies and follow the lights on the keyboard to play back, which helps to improve coordination skills. The songbook, which is included, is easy to follow and understand. This sing along will provide hours of entertainment

My grandson enjoys exploring the many options on his DJ Center and loves to talk in the working microphone. It seems well-designed, well-built and sturdy. Parts of it are simple enough that he can have fun with it now at age 3 1/2 years. It includes enough options and complexity, however, that it is also appropriate for older children. I expect that children will grow into it and play with it for several years. I was sufficiently pleased with it that I plan to buy the same toy for my younger grandson when he gets to the right age. My only disappointment is that the overly simple instruction booklet (with a mere 2-3 pages in each of 10 languages with only 2-3 lines on each feature) seems to have lost something in the translation to English. It is not clear on how to use the "Guide Button" feature or take full advantage of other options. So one does need to explore and experiment which is not all bad, but a little confusing.

I bought this toy for my niece for her second birthday, and she absolutely LOVED it!!! The different sounds this keyboard makes, and beats are just great. Even my sister & I had a bit of fun with the play along light up keys! I highly recommend this toy for any kids that are even the slightest bit intrigued with sounds, lights, or things that they can do themselves!! It also has a spot to plug in an adapter so you don't have to worry about batteries (bought separately). It is an all over great toy, no complaints what-so-ever!!

I got this keyboard for a much better price ($23) than it is offered at as i write this review, and i'm not sure it was worth it. i guess in the end, since my daughter does love it and plays with it often, it was worth it, but as far as quality, i'm disappointed. i ordered this for her birthday, knowing she would love a piano/keyboard for a toddler-aged kid (she's 3). when it arrived, i noticed that as soon as it was turned on, anytime any of the keyboard lights are on, it emits a BUZZING sound, which only goes off when the lights do. and since every function of this toy, other than just using the microphone or drums makes the keyboard light up, it was buzzing all of the time. i figured it was defective and returned it. i had a tough time finding a replacement, but Amazon worked with me (i'd give THEM 5 stars for that, really) and got me another one. well, wouldn't you know it but the 2nd one does the exact same thing. i let my daughter play with it for a while while it was still in the box and she didn't notice it at all, so i just decided to keep it as a toddler keyboard seems really hard to find, especially for the price i paid. it does have some really cute features (funny sounds, animal sounds, microphone, which, doesn't sound too great unless you're loud and right up on it, but she loves it) and so far, the batteries it came with haven't worn out after pretty much daily use (it's been about 2+ months now). so while the IDEA of it is great, the quality just isn't. since it was a great price and she loves it, i guess it was worth it.

Her favorite toy... she loves the microphone... keys light up to prompt her to press the keys and play a song.... this thing is great.

I love this keyboard. It has so many different sound options and rythms. The possibilities are endless. It's a great buy for younger kids. My girls, 5 and 2 years old, have lots of fun with it. The sound quality isn't the best, but it makes up for it in entertainment value.

What a disappointment! The music quality is very poor--most of the "intruments" sound just like every other cheap kids electronic toy. The piano is probably the worst; the animal voices all sound the same. I thought I'd get better quality at the price, plus, the left speaker doesn't work. My kids had a toy casio keyboard that cost $12.00 and was the size of an egg-carton, and its sound was vastly superior. I will likely have to go through the hassle of returning this.

Bought this for my daughter and she loved it. So much that I eventually had to hide it for periods of time to have a moments peace and quiet. Then without any notice it stopped working after 4 months of use.

Before it stopped working I would have given it a 4 star rating. The 1 star deduction is because even though it has the ability to accept a power adapter, they do not include one. If you don't buy one, you have to go through quite a few batteries.

We use the rechargeable batteries with all of our toys, so I chose to not buy a power adapter for it. Thankfully, I didn't or I would have spent more money on a now useless lump of plastic.

UPDATED AFTER MY INTIAL REVIEW...
My husband opened the product up and found that it was a fuse that blew. It required someone who knows electronics to be able to diagnose what the problem was. Luckily, we have such a person in our house. We have saved the item. But I will not change my rating because the average household probably wouldn't have gone through the trouble. It required a multi-meter, new fuse and soldering kit.

I wonder how many of these keyboards would have been saved if only they had made the case so the fuse was accessable. For $3 worth of supplies and 45 min of time, ours is now working again.
