Finally a singer worth imitating, the singstar universe is littered with hit and miss numbers throughout its compilations this one is fortunately almost all HIT. Here we get to rock our pipes next to the great Freddie Mercury and matching pitch with him isn't so easy on some of these tunes especially on hard. Either way you play a terrific selection of Queen tracks that highlight the incredible sense of melody that was infused into these arena-pop-gospel power anthems and ballads. Singing backup on some of these songs is also surprisingly satisfying, terrific fun and a great way to crack your shell. Princes of the universe needs to be on this disc and I would have liked a wireless mic bundle with this release, otherwise 4.5 stars. The videos show their age more than the music but are interesting documents themselves.
Buy it, crank it, and let yourself go.

Let me first start by saying that I am a singstar addict. I have all the games released so far in the US for the PS3, I imported the wireless mics from Europe, and I am considering buying other titles that have been released in Europe, but not here. With that said here is my review. The Singstar format is still the same: Online Store, Online Community, and Game play. Why fix it if it isn't broke? Queen is one of the greatest rock bands of all time with so many recognizable hits, so Singstar really has a winner with a title that has so many memorable songs. You can play alone, in a duet, or even as a group... it's tons of fun. There are of course other titles with different artists, but if you are a Queen fan, this is a must have. So, get it, and sing, sing, sing... become a SingStar!

This game is fun, UNTIL all the songs are sung about 4 times. It gets old singing the same 25 songs over and over.

Its just another singstar game with just Queen music.
For me its great im a huge fan of queen and my friends too, so we have a great time singing and yelling hahaha.

The videos are not in the best hd quality.. its 16:9 anyway... that helps to fit you full hd screen but most of the time you are looking at the lyrics, not the video, soo the video quality is not THAT important this time.. JUST THIS TIME!

The songs are the most famous of queen so you will have at least 7 songs you will recognize and enjoy!

I havent check the DLC for it yet so i cant tell you how it is.

If you like queen and you are a fan that loves singins along THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!. if you like to sing hard stuff its your game too!

Great game, I enjoy it a lot, Singstar should give the option of downloading songs to ps3, to use all songs with one bluray, I have other singstar titles, so I must be changing BR for singing the other songs :(

It contains all the famous songs of Queen. Great game to party with friends. Iwould have included a couple of other songs that were left aside. However game is worth the money.

I love this PS3 Singstar game. The songs are wonderful and I do not regret having bought this. This is a perfect party game :)

Out of all of the Singstars for PS3, this one is the best. So many classic songs in one place. And its great because you can add so many other great songs to your collection in the SingStore. It is great because not only can you do the basic karaoke, but also you can see either the music videos or concert footage for each song as you sing.

I really enjoy singing in duets with this game. The videos are amazing, the music is incredible! But I have to recognize is not easy at all to meet the acute of Freddy. This is one of the most difficult Singstars I've every played, yet the more enjoyable by far!
But it is true that after the 4th time you sing it is no longer fun. I would LOVE to have the dance track for some of this songs, but they are not available yet. As a matter of fact, the only thing you can do with this Singstar is to sing, there are no dance nor guitar tracks available for any of the songs, not even on the SingStore. That's a pity, because playing with the guitar with this band would be a really challenge as well.

My son got me to order this and some microphones. I expected it to be cheesy and boring; boy, was I wrong. I forgot how good these old songs are, with great melodies and lyrics. If you get this game, know that you will be walking around the office singing these songs, because you can't get them out of your head: "I Want To Be Free", "Somebody To Love", "I Want It All", "The Show Must Go On", etc.
My son and I liked this game so much, we ordered the rest of the SingStar games. Don't waste your money on Vol. 1 or Vol. 2, as they each contain just a few good songs and a lot of lousy ones. "Cherry Pie" by Warrant? Are you kidding?
We also got the Abba one, which is so-so. There are a few really good songs ("Gimme, Gimme, Gimme", "Voulez-vous"), but most of them are so mellow that they aren't much fun to sing, especially if you are singing duet.
So, if you don't have any of the SingStar games, just get Queen, a couple of mics, and hit the duets.
