Dr Draayer's book on the songs of Rodrigo is a much needed resource for singers performing this music. It combines excellent scholarship with a user-friendly approach, with good background information and , most importantly, details of all the songs and publishers. The songs are translated and phonetic transcriptions are given. There is a discography and comprehensive bibliography. Complete with a recording of 35 songs, I would highly recommend it. Judith
