Not a Bad Collection, May 23, 2006
This review is from: Singers and Songwriters: 1972-1973 (Audio CD)
I received this from an Amazon Re-Seller by mistake, so I listend to it and thought I might as well review it here.
The Tracks are:
Robert Flack - The First Time
Johnny Nash - I Can See Clearly Now
Don McLean - American Pie
Jim Croce - I Got A Name
Bill Withers - Lean On Me
Carly Simon - You're So Vain
America - A Horse With No Name
The Moody Blues - Nights In White Satin
Todd Rundgren - Hello It's Me
Seals & Crofts - Summer Breeze
John Denver - Rocky Mountain High
Arlo Guthrie - City Of New Orleans
The artists and songs probably need no introduction here as they are some of the finest songwriters around in 1972 (except no Carole King, whats up with that?). The songs are an excellent representation of their work, and the qualtiy from Warner Brothers is first class.
If you like the collection and the artists, then go for it.
