No one goes to the zoo to see sparrows, yet Jesus says that not one, not even ONE, falls to the ground apart from the will of God. He didn't talk about eagles, hawks, falcons, storks, He talked about the most insignificant one of all - the sparrow. If God takes time to oversee the life of this tiny bird, how much more indeed must He watch over YOU, even if you feel insignificant and unnoticed! This is just one of the incredible examples Sam Storm gives, of God's amazing passion for His creation. The idea of God singing... well - you'll just have to read it! What a great antidote to shame! I loved it, and I'll read it again!

Regardless of the well-known Bible passage: "God is love", many of us don't really believe that God loves us. And we suffer for it, either walking away in despair, or slaving away trying to earn approval. This book is an excellent antidote for either reaction.
Sam Storms shares from his life and gets at not only the theology, but the personal issues involved, and how we can begin experiencing more of God's love. It's practical, authentic, humble, hopeful, joyful and freeing.
Importantly, the author goes beyond the feel-good aspects of experiencing God's love and delight, and digs into the life-changing aspects of how it empowers us to love others and heal our relationships.
This book has made a big difference in my life and I will be re-reading it soon.
