Keeping in mind that this wireless mic is one of the lower priced wireless mics/headsets out there, it is an excellent product.
With a sea of incredibly cheap electronics out there, I was expecting something much cheaper quality wise; from the construction of the product, the fitment & quality of the headset, how clear the instructions were, and most importantly, the performance of the product. The review about it breaking easily...I don't know that this thing endured in her case, but this doesn't appear to be fragile or poorly made at all. That said, it's not designed to be a toy for young 'uns. I have to say that this thing is very well made considering the price. The instructions are clear & well written (translated). It's a straight forward plug & play operation. The headset fits well, however a little snug for my big adult melonhead. It will be perfect for my 12 year old daughter who will inherit this when I'm done with it for my one-time use at a meeting. The transmission/reception range is excellent. The only complaint that I have is that there is some hiss when in the mic 'on' mode, regardless of the proximity to the receiver. My guess is that the hiss is inherent to this particular item. I don't believe that the hiss came from outside interference, but that's a possibility. I imagine that this hiss would be eliminated with more sophisticated circuitry, but that would surely come at a considerably higher price. For a <$25 wireless mic, something a bit less than crystal clear transmission should be expected. The hiss may be considered excessive for solo singing, however if this is used for meetings, speaking engagements or seminars, it's acceptable. It also operates on a fixed frequency, so two of the same products can't be used at the same time, unless 'shared broadcasting' is desired, like two speakers on the same subject at a speaking engagement, for instance. All in all, a well made product that performs adequately for the price.

I was going to rate this with 4 stars due to the clarity, but when it fell with only a couple of feet of distance, the receiver broke. The device is cheaply made and would reconsider buying this product. I'm in the market of looking for better one without paying an arm and a leg. Best Buy sells a similar product, but just as cheaply made and cost more.

Product was as advertised and performed beyond expectations. Daughter is a Zumba instructor running her own business and needed a headset/microphone setup to talk to her clients while conducting the class and this unit filled the bill admirably.
