Inspirational!
Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson, of sacred memory, was mostly known as a great preacher of the Gospel but he was also a very gifted singer. On this recording he and the congregation sing a collection of some of the great songs of the faith. I have listened to it many times and it is always an inspiration!

MISLEADING
WHAT A SUPRISE WHEN I RECEIVED THIS VOL.1 DVD. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION THIS IS"MISLEADING COVER" ON DVD ADVERTISED HAS A PICTURE OF BISHOP PATTERSON/RANCE IS HOLDING A MICROPHONE "NOT WHAT I RECIEIVED." MISLEADING THERE IS NO RANCE SINGING ON THIS DVD.NOR HIS BROTHERS. ALSO IT IS NOT INDICTED THAT THIS IS THE SECOND (2) LIVE RECORDING, SINGING THE OLD TIME WAY IT JUST SAYS...

I pray every Christian and those who just love praise and worhip will have this DVD. It is awesome!! Bishop Patterson and the choir and members poured their hearts and soul into this praise and worship series. Whatever is on you WILL be lifted off you. And whatever you are needing from God you will certainly RECEIVE!!!

Very bad CD....,

This artist is usually good; however this CD was very poor quality because he used a guest choir that has an inferior sound. Also the "Old Time Way" is deceptive because the title suggests that the songs are old-time spirituals - when in fact, MOST of the songs are marathonic and unrecognizable. In short the CD is horrible!
