This is an amazing compilation of Bulgarian folk songs sung authentically in the straight tonal style of the Bulgarian people by a women's chorus. I highly recommend it for its uniqueness and integrity in adhering to the Bulgarian heritage. It's a great find! I bought it in fairly close proximity to another fine collection of ethnic music, Isabel Bayrakdarian's "Gomidas Songs", featuring songs from Armenia. These are both good additions to my CD collection.
