This is a great tool for singers who want to teach. We used this in my Vocal Pedagogy class, and it has a ton of helpful information.

This book is a must-buy for all singing teachers. I myself am a contemporary voice teacher but find very little of what Janice Chapman writes applies only to classical singing. There are many similarities in good technique of any style. This book is for all teachers who are serious about addressing vocal technique, and treating each student as a whole person.

It is an useful book for singers who start to learn singing or already a vocal performer. You will learn what is the important idea to sing greatful from this book.

I am a voice student and have been working my way through school by giving vocal lessons for 4 years-- this book is an excellent resource and is easy to read so I show parts of it to my students all the time!

There are lots of useful diagrams and the author explains things well.

I originally checked this book out of the university library, but it was so good that I had to have a copy of my own!
