5.0 out of 5 stars A WARM UP GEM!!!
Brian Kane's "Singing Tongue Twister's A-Z" is a MUST HAVE for music teachers. As an elementary music specialist and choral director, I am constantly looking for vocal warmups which will improve students' diction and vocal technique. 2.0 out of 5 stars disappointed
I was excited to receive this because I thought it would add a few interesting and lively warmups for my 7th grade chorus. They all sound the same. While I certainly could use a 2-3 of these , I think that they quickly become dull. An entire book of them - snoozeville. zzzzzzzzzz

Brian Kane's "Singing Tongue Twister's A-Z" is a MUST HAVE for music teachers. As an elementary music specialist and choral director, I am constantly looking for vocal warmups which will improve students' diction and vocal technique. Brian's warmups challenge young singers to exaggerate consonants so that their voices find their natural resonance. The sing-along CD is a fantastic model with a single male and female voice. My students' favorites are 'Chester Cheetah' and '999 Indiana Nuns.' If they had their way, they would create a concert program with tongue twister warm ups alone! I Love this book!

I bought this book and accompanying CD to use with my 1 - 8 graders. It has been a very helpful warmup for all grades. Everyone loves it, even the 'non-singers'. It is great for extending the vocal range too. Good way to break the ice in a new class.

I purchased this primarily for my younger students, but ended up using it with my high school students as well. Excellent variety and some really tough tongue twisters!
