5.0 out of 5 stars Earplugs that work
I love these earplugs! I need to wear earplugs everynight due to my husband's snoring problem. My ears have been sore due to earplugs in the past and don't work very well. I have not had a problem with my ears since using this brand. My husband is getting help for his snoring but in the meantime there is no sense making him feel bad over something he can't help - this...

3.0 out of 5 stars Packaging NOTE
These are NOT individually packaged pairs like most of the cases sold out there. This is fine for individual use but may not work well for multiple employees at a big company for instance. They will not stay clean in the field for long if not used right away without individual packaging.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great earplugs for sleeping/flying, November 23, 2010

Great earplugs. These are the ones you find in airports in single packs. A great value in this size. I've used them while flying and for sleeping, and they're great for both.

The earplugs roll up softly, and expand well to the shape of your ears. I used to get Quiet Please earplugs, but they stopped selling them at my local store, so I looked online. These are better than the Quiet Please earplugs, which get squished down fairly quickly, and then don't mold well to ears. These yellow ones maintain their shape, and are softer to start off with to boot.

I recommend them to anyone who wants cylindrical earplugs. The curved, narrower ones don't seem to fit my ears. These do.

A Kid's Review
I did not realize that I was getting individual plugs and not the ones in the i pair packages. They get hard when exposed to air, so the packets are better. I put mine in a zipper plastic bag and am hoping to keep them soft.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best earplugs I've tried, November 13, 2011

I noticed many of the reviewers want earplugs for sleeping. I use them to protect my ears on my motorcycle or while doing loud yardwork. I've tried a lot of different, much more expensive, earplugs for both uses as I really want to block as much noise as possible and the problem w/ almost all of them is that everyone's ear canal is shaped different and even though the dB rating may be higher, they let a lot more noise in if they don't fit the ear correctly. The similar kind of bowling pin shaped foam ones I've tried tend to be a little smaller and don't rebound as well to prevent noise from coming in; tho for sleeping, perhaps the less rebound and pressure would be more comfortable as less noise needs to be blocked.
Overall, this is an awesome deal on a basic earplug that'll cost a lot more if I picked them up in pharmacies or gas stations and since they last a long time if my fingers and ears are clean, should last a few years. Just roll it into a narrow cylinder between the fingers, pull the skin in front of the ear forward to open and straighten the canal, insert, and in 30 seconds or so the world goes quiet.

Simple but excellent ear plugs. My brother got me to try these years ago and I've been using them ever since. We both buy them by the boxful. Living in a noisy city, I think I would have lost my mind on many occasions without em. If you haven't used ear plugs before, it does take a little getting used to but then you get over it. Just make sure you get them in right. The trick is to roll it down slowly and get it as narrow as possible (think matchstick) and then insert it quick. I hold it for a few seconds to let it expand. If it's not in right, you'll know it. Just take it out and start over. I know it sounds like a lot of trouble, but it really isn't at all once you get good at it. Oh, and if you have short ear canals, you can cut one in half like my sister in law does.

These are much better than the brand they sell in pharmacies which make my ear sweat. These are foamy and they block sound just fine. I can finally get some sleep. I live near the airport so this is very helpful to have at night.

These plugs fit very comfortably. I ride a motorcycle and use the plugs to reduce wind noise.
