If you're like me, you've decided to "check out" this book because you've found yourself in the situation you never thought you'd be in: single and raising children. From the very first pages, Lynda Hunter spoke to me. Like me, her husband had an affair and left her alone to raise children. Like me, she had to face emotional and financial hardships as she tried to get her life back together. But unlike me--thank God this book was here to remind me--Hunter never forgot about her ties to her heavenly Father.

Hunter reminds us that there are (believe it or not) positives that can be gained by one's newfound single status. Maybe it will not reveal itself to us immediately, but God has a plan. Although we feel lonely, we must remember that we are never alone. God will not only take this walk with us, but indeed knows WHAT the walk will be. We have only to trust in Him.

SINGLE MOMENTS was a book that I couldn't put down; I was hungry for the message. But it is also written so that one could read one short passage a week and continue the blessings for one full year.

I liked this book so much that I've purchased two additional copies--one for a divorced friend who was particularly helpful to me in my time or need and one for my pastor. I've enclosed a note for my pastor to keep this book (read it too, if he wishes) and then pass it on when he next encounters someone in need of spiritual healing from a divorce as I was following my separation and divorce. If you're in that later category, pick up SINGLE MOMENTS. They will be moments well-spent.

This is a well thought out book, I love the scripture activities at the end of each chapter. This book is designed to help get you through the tough times of a divorce and it does, spriritually. All of Lynda's priorities are in the right spot. This deserves the highest accolades.
