More About the Author

Kris Kissman has authored over 50 peer reviewed social science articles in academic journals. Her publications include Single Parent Families, Factors Predicting Well-being Among Single Mothers and a book of poetry, entitled Postcards to Iceland, forthcoming on Kindle under her Icelandic name, Unnur Sóley Kristjánsdóttir. She is a retired professor, living in Montery, California, close to her three children and six grandchildren.
