5 Foot Single Sided Compact Folding Ladder

This ladder is exactly what I needed, a very light, handy, compact ladder to squirrel away in my motorhome out of the way until I need it. However, to achieve that compactness, it is very slender. Although it is very sturdy and stable, the narrow sides and steps just FEEL a little skinny. You wouldn't use this ladder for a long hard job where you stand on it for hours. But for what it's intended, it's just fine. Watch your fingers when you're folding it up, there are several opportunities to get pinched. No big deal, just be careful.

This ladder is perfect for city dwellers with high ceilings. Very easy to unfold, use and store. It has such a small footprint when folded that it tucks into any closet easily. Living in NYC, I very much appreciate that.

Bought this ladder to replace a 4-ft aluminum step ladder. Great move! I use it to clear off the top of the slide-out on my RV and for other tasks requiring a little height. It folds into a 6-foot length that fits easily into a storage compartment. Unfolded, it feels sturdy and secure. Only possible downside is that it has no top tray for tools. That takes some getting used to. Otherwise, a great tool. By the way, when the UPS driver couldn't find my address (He blamed the heat.), the factory called to confirm my address and gave me the drivers supervisor's number to call. The delivery was only 15 minutes late. Great service from the factory.

I've had the free-standing version of this ladder for years and liked it a lot, but decided I wanted more stability and did not want to continue leaning it against my motorhome when working on it, so I "upgraded" to this. It's great -- just what I wanted. It's light, compact, and sturdy. I wish I'd gotten the 7-foot version to get a little higher (the top two steps aren't really useable) but this works fine.

I bought this ladder so I could reach the roof of our camper. Its so light the wife wanted instead. Light and sturdy so its easy to carry around the house and stores in a broom closet. I'll have to buy another one, the wife won't give the first one back!

This will work perfectly in our 5th wheel trailer, where space is at a premium.

When folded, it fits perfectly into the tall narrow space I have available between my washer/drier and the wall, under the stairs. It's easy to unfold, and feels very sturdily constructed, although the steps themselves are not very deep. You have to be a little careful when folding it up not to get fingers caught (or the strap which secures it when folded, which has a bit of a tendency to get in the way). I'm really happy with it, and I feel it'll last me for years and years.
