Binding is not pulled from spine. Corners are rubbed and bumped, as well as the edges. There is a sticker on the first page (very small less then 1/2") that says " Personal Book Shop - Boston" - Other then this all page are clean, clear & crisp. No markings or writings in the book at all. Well loved book, but it is a first edition. A nice copy to read. Shows moderate shelf-ware from age and use. Hope it finds you well! #PA2

This passage took place just after WWII so much has changed with boats and sailing, the environment and locations. Despite this, this is one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read. The writing is superb, phraseology unique and visually inspiring.
