This compilation of Bluetones songs if a prefect set for Bluetones fans and newcomers alike. The Brit-poppy goodness of The Bluetones is one that you can't help but enjoy. This is a no-brainer purchase for fans of Travis(circa 'Good Feeling'), Blur, or any other Brit-pop band that we all know and love. There cannot be one song found on these two CDs that one cannot enjoy. If you do not own any Bluetones albums this is the best starter kit to the band. And, if you do own the Bluetones and don't have this, what are you thinking?! Go out right now and buy it! If you are hesitant to buy this because the price of imports, get over it! You gotta spend your money on something, make it worth your while. You'll listen to this over and over again. Why, in fact, I gave this album to my friend to listen to just to show him what he had been missing out on. He loved it and bought it that day at [the store]! So, tell ALL of your friends about The Bluetones. And, if you already know what's up, all of your favs are contained in this purchase. 5 STARS!!!

This is a singles compilation for the Bluetones, and while not a greatest hits album in the sense of the name, it has some of their greatest music! Fantastic tracks like 4-Day Weekend, Solomon Bites the Worm, Slight Return, If..., and Bluetonic sound great when you can cue them up one after another on an album. Mudslide, as on the album it's taken from, is fun but lightweight. This album also contains two new tracks, Freeze Dried Pop (Dumb it Up), and The Bluetones Big Score, both of which are excellent. A good starting point if you don't want to jump right in and buy their albums (which you should...they're great!)
