Another great CD of Conniff classics!, September 26, 2007
This review is from: The Singles Collection, Volume 2 (Audio CD)
If you enjoyed volume one of Ray Conniff's Singles Collection then you will like what is in store in volume two. You will hear Ray sing "Cuddle Up a Little Closer" and "Why Did You Leave Me,Darling". The title tune of the Hanna Barbera animated film from 1973, "Charlotte's Web" is in this collection. The songs go back from the late 50's to 1982. I enjoyed this latest CD compiliaton by the late great Ray Conniff. Well worth listening to!

Very rare Conniff!, November 17, 2008
This review is from: The Singles Collection, Volume 2 (Audio CD)
This collection provides the listener with some rare glimpses of Ray Conniff's work, as it is comprised of some single recordings by the artist that have literally not been heard by even the most avid Conniff collectors and fans. Do not let that issue dissuade you purchasing a very enjoyable album.
This is the obvious companion to "The Singles - Volume One," and it includes such outstanding numbers as the charming "Charlotte's Web," "Are You Lonesome Tonight," the rousing "Delta Dawn," and my personal favorite, the very romantic "What'll I Do?"
Overall, this is a most welcome addition to the growing collection of a master musician's works, and do indeed be on the alert for the issue of Volume Three.
