Simply Irresistable!, August 25, 1999
This compilation is a must if you like pop music with melodies that grab you from the start and don't let go! A criminally ignored band of the 80's, the Bluebells made wonderful, no-nonsense music with a folk tinge but with an emphasis on the POP! Get this before it goes out of print!

Good, but different mixes from "Sisters", May 4, 2009
I bought this CD because I'm a big fan of the Bluebells' lone proper album, "Sisters" from 1984, and this is the only Bluebells music from that era on CD.
If you're a fan of Sisters, you might be slightly disappointed in this disc. Although six titles from Sisters appear here, they are mostly (inferior, in my opinion) single mixes, not the album versions.
Everybody's Somebody's Fool - Much shorter sigle version
Cath - Single version and a remix, which is the Sisters version
The Patroit Game - Sisters version, I think
I'm Falling - Sound like a single edit of the Sisters track
Young at Heart - Totally different (and much longer) version
Will She Always Be Waiting - There are two verisons on this CD, but neither is the Sisters version.
That disappointment aside, there is still a generous helping of great 80's pop music offered on this disc. Until Sisters is reissued, this is your best Bluebells option.

Bluebells rock!, June 10, 1999
By A Customer
The Bluebells are easily one of the best new wave acts of the eighties. Hits like "I'm Falling", "Young at Heart" and my personal favourite "Cath", make this compilation a must have for any fan of 80's music.
