The band have notched up five Top Ten albums (including a Number One for their sophomore album Magic And Medicine), over one million record sales and numerous hit singles, all while the band members are still all in their 20s! Equal parts Mersey Beat, the Doors, Dylan, and Oasis, the Coral's sound was unique and diverse enough to generate column inches in the fickle British music press. This band, to my ears, is as good or better than Oasis. In any case, they should be much, much better known. Truly, as this set shows, they have a bunch of great hook-laden songs, with shimmering guitars and pleasing vocals. What's not to like? If you like the Coral, or are interested in hearing more of their stuff, get this 2-CD UK edition with the bonus disc of B-sides and live material. Outstanding music.

I discovered The Coral while watching the end credits of a Korean TV show. I googled the lyrics and discovered the freshest, most innovative band I've heard in a while. And this album is like a Greatest of the Greatest Hits. Every song of theirs I like is included in this one CD. Enjoy!
