A Must Buy,

This album is among my favorite top ten albums of all time.It surprises me that some people never heard of Londonbeat. On the other hand, those that have heard of them probably think of them as a one hit wonder. However, I remember "I've Been Thinking About You", "You Bring on the Sun", and "Better Love" to be quite successful songs when they came out. Their best of album is truly an amazing album in my view. The album contains deep, romantic, and meaningful lyrics accompanied by perhaps one of the greatest voices on earth and a very original guitar sound. Their slow songs will put you in the weirdest of moods: a mixture between feeling blue and romantic. With lyrics like "Two cups of coffee and a table for one. I waited for you girl, but I'm here on my own" and "I was driving home the morning after with the taste of you still on my tongue", I can easily say that they are among the most blue-romantics. With the exception of some of their faster songs, you really can't pop in their CD at a party in my view. It's just not that kind of music. You need to be mellow, in love, or out of love. The last thing to note is that Londonbeat was originally an acapella band and you'll see traces of this in many of their songs.
