Excellent complication album!
This is an excellent compilation album that doesn't get it high marks on sites such as AMG for nothing! My favorite Soft Cell songs are on this and many that I never heard which are now favorites as well. Love love love the song Say hello, wave goodbye! Such a gorgeous sounding song w/ tongue in cheek lyrics, but then again most of the songs are tongue in cheek and I love...

A good overview
A good overview of the group's output. This is the original 7" singles collection, and omits any updated remixes. It's probably less essential than Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret, simply because all the best material on this compilation is from that album. Still, if you want a taste of what Soft Cell's other albums are like, without taking the risk of purchasing them,...

A good overview of the group's output. This is the original 7" singles collection, and omits any updated remixes. It's probably less essential than Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret, simply because all the best material on this compilation is from that album. Still, if you want a taste of what Soft Cell's other albums are like, without taking the risk of purchasing them, this is indeed a good overview.

My favorite Soft Cell songs are on this and many that I never heard which are now favorites as well. Love love love the song Say hello, wave goodbye! Such a gorgeous sounding song w/ tongue in cheek lyrics, but then again most of the songs are tongue in cheek and I love it! You can just visualize Marc's over dramatic facial expressions when he's singing as he sings w/ such odd passion. Even if you only know Tainted Love as I did when I purchased this many years ago still buy this as it's a great album to own.
