5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Remakes
Yes, these are remakes, but the production is first-rate. The new arrangements of "Statue Of A Fool", "All The Time", and "You Are My Treasure" are especially effective. "There Goes My Everything" is here of course, as well as the hard to find "The Last Letter".

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, considering.....
These are NOT the original recordings. But, I must say they are quite good remakes made in the late '80s. No notes of any kind are included. Greene is in terrific voice here. Get the originals if you can, then look for this one.

Jack is in great voice and has added some subtle vocal inflections to these hits he has lived with for so long. Among the other selections that were new to the Greene catalog, "I'd Do As Much For You", "Goin' Through Hell For An Angel", and "Midnight Tennessee Woman" are standouts.
This is a great companion piece to the "The Jolly Green Giant" Edsel import collection. I find myself reaching for this as much as the originals-highly recommended.
